In March, April and October, the weather hits about 26 degrees celcius. From May to September, temperatures average 29 degrees celcius. The turquoise Caribbean waters relax to an incredible point and cenotes are even more inviting during the extra warm summer months! Scuba diving is one of the most popular activities as well as snorkeling, where you can experience one of the most amazing sea life in the world. Caribbean sea and the heart of Playa del Carmen is at a walking distance, but if you are planning to visit around the Mayan Riviera (cenotes, tropical forests, Tulum, Akumal and other delightful emplacements), we recommend to rent a car, since taxis are very expensive in the Riviera Maya although very accessible from everywhere.
